I have no idea what just happened, or why it all kicked off.......

Good to see that there was a fair bit of resources available to respond in a short space of time. Cant imagine that would have happened anywhere outside of Dublin.

Those Courier vans, sure were a great decision to put on the fleet. See how quickly it all calmed down when that arrived :D

very good response and positioning by the boys in blue here

handled a dicey and highly charged (if not laced) situation

carefully and with the force of hand required in such flamable circumstances.

very nice to have a 'no comment' type of footage to just watch & assess without interuption or commentary

haven't read thread as came on to post video myself and found the thread started....

    in a rush

and then the tallk about taking away rates etc for unsociable hours
'tis a differnt world at that time of night with a compeletly different set of rules and circumstances
advanced skills in danger assessment and crowd/mob control and diffussion

ridic not to be recognising these special requirementary skills by these strong and brave fellas and lassies.

... time for recognition of the dangers involved in an ever evolving urban/suburban/countryside where undesireables can take root if the services are not in position early on to counter such growth, by evolving with adverserial fighting techniques for the upkeep of justice and a safe society for the fair and hard working people who rely on it.

League of Ireland 'fans' have been on the receiving end of similar treatment. Act the bollox and expect to be dealt with.
