When I Press the Brake Pedal the Boot Unlocks?

    When I press the break pedal the boot unlocks.I drive a 2005 ford focus. I have check the wiring and cant see any broke wires checked for water getting in somewere also cant see any. Any other ideas of what this maybe would be great help cheers

    Hi thanks for that..I had a look under the carpet in boot but its just metal no sign of anything could you say where it is..what was the problem for yourself??

    Your issue seems to be fairly well known. Google threw up a few pages with that particular issue.

    the rear boot switch is full of water pull the rubber down and drain it out and clean it out,

    I had a look but there was no water in there.its in garage now anyways for pre nct check so they wll find the problem thanks anyways
