Storage Heater not coming on

    Hi

My storage Heater dimplex model xmx 718n did not heat up last night. Early on sunday coat was left on top of it accidentaly for about 10 mins. As the day went on the heater seemed to get very hot.

Got up this morning at 6am to find it cold. The pilot light on the external switch was on as usual at this time indicating that the current was going
    to the unit.

Wondering is there an overheating cut out switch on this model that has been tripped. Heater is only 14months installed.
    Any advice would be appreciated
