    I think the only 'help' that would be of significant use to an aspiring author, with a manuscript, with regards to getting published would have to come from industry professionals. Anything short of that just couldn't be relied upon to rise to the industry standard.

    Creative writing groups such as this board already constitute the type of help you're talking about I think.
