Hi there. I'm not a student of NUI but live in Maynooth and am doing a degree with the Open University online. Does anyone know of where i can go to study locally - libraries have cut back on their opening hours unfortunately. Someone mentioned that there may be rooms in Maynooth University that are open to the public for a small fee?? .

(I can study at home but I just get the munchies the whole time and will be size of a small country if I don't study somewhere away from the kitchen :) )

Any thoughts are much appreciated (bar getting my teeth wired :) ).

The reading room in the arts building is open from about 6/7am -11pm every day , the secondary students and every other soul seemingly in the town uses the place to study so you could probably try there ! =)

Little late perhaps but I do recall seeing a sign (not sure it's still there) that the reading room is for students of NUIM only
