Sediment in well

We moved into our new house 3 days ago, and we have a problem with a lot of sediment in our well water. The well was sunk around 4 or 5 months ago, and was dirty on about 2 previous occasions. I pumped the well and it cleared eventually. It was clear for the last 2 months until 2 days ago. I know we had very heavy rain last week, so I wonder if this could have been a cause. The water is completely brown at times, then clears and gets bad again. Looking for any advise!

Did you have a suitability test carried out before installing?

What pump/filter system are you using?

No suitability test carried out, and no filter system as of yet. We were going to test the water soon after moving in to see if a filtration system was needed and this happened...
