Programming key fob for 2006 Santa fe

    My wife just broke her key fob for her 2006 Santa Fe , had a look circuit board is broken so ill buy a new one from eBay.
    Can i program this myself ? am getting conflicting information from Google.

    It depends on which shape Santa Fe it is. 2006 was the changeover year. There is a manual programming procedure for ->2006 model but not for the 2006-> model.
