If its the same sw office there shouldnt be any problem you will just have to bring in proof of address. If you are >25 years of age then you will not have to be means tested again. If you are moving sw office you will have to go into the sw office in the area you are moving to with ID and proof of address and they will request your claim from your current sw office this should only take a matter of days.

Are u saying if your less then or more then 25 will you be mean tested, Im over 30 so will I be mean tested.
Im eitheir moving in with my parents or my sister. I am just sorting that out at the moment, if I decide to move in with a sister who lives on her own and who I will pay rent to her will I be mean tested , will it be long process to get things sorted or will it be a short period.

    Any advive is appreciated.

I am presuming that you are on jobseekers allowance and that you have already been means tested for this payment. You moving in with your parents or sister should not require you to be means tested again.

If you live with your parents and you are under 25 years of age then there means are assessed for your claim. As you are over 30 this does not arise in your case.

If I move to a different county (for example Co. Mayo to Co. Galway),
will my jobseekers allowance claim be stopped or can it be transferred?
