    Hi,

Suspected a blown fuse on my Astra 2006 as boot wouldn't open and checked it. Wasn't blown so put it back in now my car won't start. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the battery overnight but no joy. Any ideas? Need the car this weekend.

Dash lights all working as they should. Nothing happens there is no lick out of the car when I turn the key to start position.

Checked online and it was fuse number 8 took it out seen it wasn't blown and put it back in. Could doing this blow another fuse?

the fuse numbers should be shown inside the panel you took off.
personally i would go by that.
is the radio working and everything else?
if its just the ignition, the fuse for that might be under the bonnet.
