I'm playing guitar years, and if you're just starting out, I'd say you simply can't go wrong with one of them.

Good brand, tend to make good quality low end stuff. Would rather spend 70 quid on this than on anything else in that price range! I'd be tempted myself being honest.

Cheers. Although it says it might take 1 to 2 months to deliver.

When you go to checkout, free delivery to Ireland is an option and it says 4-5 business days

That comes up no matter what you purchase but it depends on the individual item. Estimated delivery on the email says 12th April to 13th May.

Aye, this is what it says before you even add it to your basket:
    Usually dispatched within 1 - 2 months.

That being said, I've bought a lot from amazon.co.uk, and a lot have said the same and yet I've never been waiting more than a week.

I wouldn't go buying this expecting to have it pronto, but from experience it doesn't take as long as they suggest.

How does it compare to a Yamaha F310. I know theres a big price difference, but if I could save a few quid on this and still get a decent starter guitar, I'd go for it.

Wonder what the chances of actually getting this at this price is? I know Amazon don't actually take the money until the item is shipped and they can cancel at any time before that saying they don't have any stock. Got stung when buying a Smiths boxset before :(

Argh, just seen this! I was in the market for a beginner guitar and this would have been great! Any other guitars on offer that you have noticed boardies? :)

I love Yamahas, great guitars for the money. If you were willing to spend the extra few quid it would be worth it. Just checked these on Thomann and they're only 122 quid. Probably cheaper UK distributors.

Got a confirmation email from Ebay that the guitar was dispatched (from Germany I think) should have it next week apparently. The reduced golf clubs I ordered on Amazon should be here soon too :)

The Peavy was a decent guitar, they normally distribute themselves as they are based in the UK good price on it
