Should I email her again?

    Hi all,

So, before Christmas I came across an ad for an unpaid internship during the 2012/2013 school year in Europe in the area I want to work in. Experience is key in this area and though its unpaid I'm eager to work with someone who could provide me with a good reference.

On the off chance, I emailed asking if it'd still be run in the 2013/2014 school year. She requested my C.V. etc. but wasn't sure if she'd be running the internship next year yet. And that was it - I didn't hear anything from her until two weeks ago when she emailed asking about my plans for September. I replied enthusiastically on the same day, asking for some more info. But now I've heard nothing. This was 13 days ago.

My head is saying that she emailed me after about 4 months of no contact, so she must be interested in me and maybe I should just wait it out. But I really need to know if it'll happen or not, because I'll be hearing back from Masters courses in the next few weeks and need to know whether to accept/decline.

Should I email her again, bearing in mind she hasn't responded to my last email? If so, what should I say? I don't want to be irritating and badger her, but also want to know what the story is.

    Thanks for any advice.

Just say exactly what you said in the above post. Explain you enthusiasm and in failing that, get a number and phone... your mail may have been over looked or sent to her spam?
