This spring has been the last stray, and I really need a potting/ general gardening shed, for propogator of some sort (running out of window sill with the cold weather).

I have a plan, but the final decision I have to make is on the roof. I have a couple of sheets of corrugated iron/ metal that I was given, so another sheet of that (or the PVC to increase the light further - I have two recycled windows already) will give me enough coverage I think. Or I can go with wood, covered with felt.

Given I have 2/3's of the roof there and ready, and the price of felt, it looks to be coming out a good bit cheaper to go with a corrugated roof. Anything I should be considering in the comparison that might make the extra expense worth it?

Wood would retain the heat better, and wouldn't be as noisy hiding from the rain, but the felt won't last as long and costs more short term too. It'd be mainly a potting shed/ hiding from a houseful of females, but there would be tools both manual, electrical and petrol probably stored in there too.

    Any advice/ experience welcome!
