    Hi ,
    Anyone know what's the story with buying a UK reg van of a guy who has owned it in the south for the last 9 months ?
    Will it be hard to get it cleared .
    2nd question ;
    Is it €200 for all commercial vans now ?

    Thanks .

    if hes not a dealer hes not allowed sell a UK reg down south...i would stay away..unless its very rare van and it just has to be that one..not worth the potential hassle

    Tell the seller to register and VRT the van BEFORE you buy. Under NO circumstances do you buy the van with UK plates!!

    Revenue/VRT website will show what's
    needed to register it.
    It's €200 VRT plus interest, it's less hastle if the seller does this before you buy.
