Anyone know if its possible to use a single cable with splitters for both Satellite signal and UPC Broadband?

I currently have two coax cables entering the house - the preferrred location for a new UPC connection is in use for Satellite, the alternative connection point is currently unused..

    Thanks

Yes it can be done. You need TWO devices call Diplexers:

    See here:

One goes outside and the other one goes inside, however I suspect UPC will simply drill a new hole and install the cable seperately. A seperate cable is a better option anyway.
