Space Heaters (Convection/Blow/Oil Filled) V Central Heating

Right Im wondering what is the best way to heat a few rooms when it starts to cool after central heating has been on.
We have central heating but obviously we cant leave it on all day. What is the most economical Way to few heat a few rooms. There are 3 basic space heaters.
Or instead of turning on 3 space heaters for 2 hours are you best on turning the central heating on for those 2 hours COST wise? I use Gas Central Heating

Have a look at mcloughlin oil website, the inverter heater they have has a great heat output , its portable and cheap to run, much cheaper than electric.

The ESB website has a appliance cost calculator (there is also an app) which will tell you what the cost for each of those heaters would be in electricity usage on a 2 month bill. Compare that to what the gas cost would be and that should give you your answer.
