Massive shout out to all involved in organising the Galway Cycle this year. The event has raised €130,000 so far for the wonderful Jack and Jill foundation.

We cycled to Galway from Maynooth on Friday last in what can only be described as extreme weather conditions - one poor cyclist was treated for hypothermia

Cycled the 195KM back from Galway yesterday into a 40K headwind from start to finish - it was a long tough day but knowing that we were all doing it for Jack and Jill and the amazing welcome back into Maynooth from hundreds of people made it all worthwhile.

Fair play to everyone who was involved! Great cause, and ye raised a lot of money for the Jack & Jill Foundation.
I'd say that anyone who took part doesn't want to get back on a bike ever again after the woeful weather conditions!!
