Where would I find exact details of the co2 details for a car.
Looking on manufactures websites it states co2 from x to y for a particular model

Looking on auto trader, different sellers give different numbers.

I'm looking for a link to exact co2 details for a
    2011, bmw f11 530d m sport auto

The co2 numbers will effect the vrt.and road tax.

    cheers

If its a uk car it'll be on the v5 cert.

    I know about the v5
But I'd like to know what I'm dealing with when I'm doing my finances.

I have to do my math with vrt and road tax etc

Different dealers give different details co2 wise,

If its autotrader then I think they select a spec or it goes on the reg - its definitely not foolproof. I nearly got caught on vrt on a car last year as the actual vrt was different to the one on the autotrader specs.

If you're serious about a particular car then ask the seller for the figure on the cert. I'd imagine the options on the car like wheels would affect the actual co2 figure

If you can see the reg in the advert, stick it in to Cartell and it gives you the CO2 emissions (presuming it's a UK Reg).

Alternatively, http://carfueldata.direct.gov.uk/ is a very useful tool, but there can be different emission versions of the same car/engine depending when it was produced.

Above link isn't even listing any F11 models, only F10, and that's showing 160g for a 530d Auto from Week 7 2010 production.

My guide books were showing 165g in May 2011 and 149g in December 2011, so there must have been engine updates at some point in the year.

Only real way to know is from the reg number.

The autos have better mpg and lower co2

As I said, I want to have the correct details so I can do the finances
