    Hi

I have on of those 10 x 10 Wooden Garden Sheds - that have Felt roof. Unfortunately - some overhanding branches caused a tear in the felt midway up the roof during the high winds and was wondering how to fix same.

The tear is in n 'L' shape about 4 inches x 4 Inches. Unfortunately - the wooden part of the rood is now exposed and getting wet and allowing water to run to the bottom the roof and afraid it will cause rot if I do nothing..

    Any thoughts

Get a roll of mineral felt at a builders providers and replace the section.

Is that hard to do.....do you mean a full length??? Take up all the tacks and re-tack with new sheet??

    Would it be expensive????

A small piece 300 x 300mm of roofing green, brown or black felt square in Woodies or a builders provides for a fiver and a tube of Tech 7 in a builders providers for 9 euro.

Cut the roof felt patch a bit bigger than the tear in the shed roof and then bond it on with the Tech 7.

Job done very fast and easily and instantly waterproof for many a year to come.:)
