Minerals post calving

Iv been giving all the cows Superchoice Post calving bagged minerals since they have calved , and it seems to be paying off .

The cows are showing strong heats and i find them easier to A.I than other years .
Most of them held to first insemination , so im putting it down to the using this mineral for first time .

Ive used lick buckets and dissovable mineral tablets in previous years , but never had results like this whilst using them .

The first of the autumn calving cows are touching 4 months in calf now , and still getting the powder .
As with the brutal summer the silage quality wasnt outstanding , so i said to myself id keep them on it to give them extra vitamins + minerals .

Is this a complete waste of time and money or is it serving a purpose ???
