    Scrap your plan to do the Visualization Administrator Server 2008 R2. Do worry, you haven't wasted anything.

    Do the 70-646 exam next and get MSCA Windows Server 2008/MCITP Windows Server 2008 Administrator.

    After that you can do;
    70-417 Upgrade to MSCA Windows Server 2012
    70-246/247 Private Cloud.

    You don't have to do the upgrade in any order to do the Private Cloud certifications, as you can get the Windows Server 2008 MSCE: Private Cloud certification just by taking the path of 70-646/246/247. You can then upgrade later to 2012 with the 70-417 exam.

    Hope that is clear.

    No pdfs, sorry. Just used the Planner from my profile. I've got similar to yourself and I'm deciding what to do next myself.

    I think I wasn't clear. You only need 2 exams from where you are to get MSCA Windows Server 2012.

    Exam 70-646 will get you your MSCA Windows Server 2008. If you do it before the 31st of July you'll get the MCITP title as well.

    Then you can do the 70-417 upgrade exam to get your MSCA Windows 2012 certification. The PDFs don't list the upgrade exams but only the default path.

    After completing one or both of the above exams you can then do the Private Cloud certifcation exams if virtualisation is what you are after.

    I'll repeat, the PDFs don't list all the paths you can take. Either check your planner on your MCP profile (you do have one?) or the Microsoft Learning site.
