    Hi all,

I'm looking to buy aluminum gates exactly the size of the ones in the picture, could you have a look at the photo and advise how much you think these would cost.

    Thanks a mil.

Two 12' would probably see you out. There are heavy duty and standard available. Would you be looking for hangers and posts aswell, or just 2 gates?
The price would reflect what exactly you choose.

These are galvanised gates, as in galvanised tubular steel. I have never seen aluminium gates, not for farm use anyway.
The gates in the pic are standard 12" gates, cost about €120 each.

You will need hanging post too.

If they are for a holding yard which livestock will have access to I'd make sure and go for heavy duty gates. And dont spare the concrete when hanging them either!

Agreed. the ones in the pic look fairly light.

I'm a big fan of the gibney heavy duty gates, not cheap, but should last well

We bought a handy closing latch especially for closing two gates like that together in Mullinahone co op (saw them in a picture on there website), it will probably be next weekend before we get to fit them, it cost €50 I think.

Hi lads, the gates won't be used for livestock so they don't have to be heavy duty, how much do you think the posts would cost each?

Don't know what the galvanised posts are. You could ring one of the COOPs tomorrow.

    Think €60-80 each
