robin with a bald patch

    Just noticed at one of my feeders a robin with a bald patch on the back of his head, I dont think hes one of my regular robins, but its possible.
    Hes eating okay and looks healthy, could it be down to fighting or an illness.

    Guess im worried that it could be something infectious and could spread to the other birds.

    A lot of robins will look Very rough this time of year as they will be fighting for mates and territories bald patches and scraps and cuts will be very common,also with the cold weather lately they would probably fighting to the death for territories that have a good food sores
