Hot rads but no hot water in taps

Have a coal fire heating system with a pump and several rads.

Lit the fire yesterday afternoon , pump plugged in when needed, rads heated as normal , went to wash the dishes and no hot water from the taps checked upstairs none there either.

I let the fire die off as house was warm enough plugged out the pump.

Turned my emersion on and hot water up and downstairs.

Any ideas on what's up here?

From the little bits I could find online it could be header tank/ball prob , airlock or blockage?

I have fortunately never had any issues with the system , my father looked after it but he passed away and this is the 1st problem since then.

Can anyone suggest a company or plumber who specialises in coal heating systems and has reasonable prices? I'm on a very tight weekly budget so I don't have lots of money to play with , but of course I need to be able to heat the house .

    Thank you :)

The most likeliest is the ball valve in the expansion tank is stuck, all you need to do is go up the loft and free the valve by pusting it gently down.
