Earlier in the winter during one of the storms I saw a hardy, or maybe foolhardy, surfer having a go on some pretty massive waves in the cove in Greystones. It got me thinking, has anyone checked out the north beach recently? With the new breakwater built for the harbour, who knows what is happening there now? I drive past it on my way up to bray and now and then it does look like it holds a wave but I have not had the chance yet to get down to the beach. Would be sweet to have a wave in Gemstones.
