Waiting 8 weeks for a fixed penalty notice ? Is this normal

    Waiting over two months now for an fpn for a road traffic offense . Does this seem the norm ? Had one or two fpn in the past an received them inside 3 weeks !

    Hi yea I'm waiting to receive a notice just over six weeks now. I believe there might be backlogs due to the gardai holding minor strikes against the cuts theyre getting.

    Would this back log not be through the RSA an not the Gardai ?

    Not sure,I presume the gardai aren't sending on the details within the usual timeframe.
