just wondering wit the sample being sent away will that stop the ''dodgers'' that don't register calves untill they are 2 or 3 months old.?

Lots of premature calves get registered following year!!!
If your a bit late registering a calf in 2012 and you register accurately in 2013 and it turns out the calving interval is less than 300 days the dept will let you know!
