    I did that last night,

Nice little upgrade that gives proper music entertainment in the car fully manageable from the iDrive. Phone charging, music streaming through the car speakers and 100% integration to the iDrive. Comes with Bluetooth too of course.

What would you be looking at to do with on an e90 with prof nav?

It is a big job as you may know, that requires the change of your entire dashboard too.
We are probably talking about 1200 euros more or less with a CCC Professional.

So much negativity from you today :D

That's what happend when you disconnect the battery of a E70.
You drive a few yards and the error goes away.

I have the prof nav as it is. Surely it wouldn't cost 1200 to install a dension.

    Ah sorry I misread you.
440 euros for Dension 500S BT supplied and fitted. And car coded of course.

    Cheers

    Tell me about it, depressing...

Yes it comes with a microphone that needs to be rooted around the central mirror, it clips on the header.

If I was to supply it myself, what could you do just fitting and coding?

Edit: my car has been prewired for a cd changer according to spec list.

I sell the kit new as an official Dension reseller for 380 euros. 60 euros for fitting.
If you you can get your hands on a used one, I will fit it for 80 euros.

    Cheers
