Internet disconnecting when I launch WoW

So I just moved into an apartment, where Fibre Optic isnt available in the area.

I've had to go with MAgnet, who I don't mind. While its not the 150mb I'm used to, its fast enough.

Problem is arising when I go to play a game, WoW. I get into character select, I get into loading, and at about 90% of a bar full, the wifi disconnects.

I'd imagine this is something to do with ports, but would like for someone to be able to confirm , and maybe assist if they have had this issue before.

Thanks, I've already bought powerline adaptors that are on the way, but it will be a few days

So I need some help for the short term

Well another poster here did a remote port scan of his router and found only the following ports are open

21, 22, 80 & 443

Which would indicate the issue.

Well appears there is an issue with the line so they are sending someone from Eircom to fix, they will then move onto troubleshooting the game issues after that. Possible the router is faulty : /

Powerline adaptors coupled with engineer working at the exchange, has me back playing wow
