Coco the Staff (8) from the flat below me achieved that unlikely feat a few days ago and wait for the punchline....The father is 12 years of age!

No light whatsoever in a council ground floor flat so I had to use flash but I didn't aim it at the pups and used a diffuser as I pointed it away.

    Note the Nike logo!

She had 2 pups in total and the Mother is going up to the vets to double check that there is no more left inside the mother.

All in the eye of the beholder, can't stand them personally, ever since I was terrorised by one on a constant basis as a kid, fckers name was Kim. Every time she saw me she charged at me showing teeth. So long as they are muzzled as per the law, but unfortunately its not enforced . Cute is not a word I think of when i see a "staff"

to be fair, it's not the dog -- it's the training, or lack thereof. these dogs always get a bad rep, but they can be great dogs with the right training. my friend in sligo has a staffy and hasn't had any probs. i got frightened by a schnauzer when i was a kid, but that doesn't mean they are bad dogs!

i know we're going off topic, but it's worth reading 'animals in translation' by temple grandin. some dogs are born with different temperaments.

Its all about the genetics. Some dogs no matter what training are deep down just put on this earth by us human beings to do nasty things. Other dogs were born to lie there and lick things. You can't train out genetics. One day given the right environment the baddins will be bad.

She's a lovely lookin staff Janer. I'd have the wee white-faced one in a heartbeat.

And whatever you f'tards are saying about breed and genetics there's no such thing as a genetic a**hole when it comes to dogs. Doesn't exist. Total myth. Dogs are dogs are dogs - train or threaten one into being a bad fecker and you'll end up with a bad fecker. Doesn't matter a sh1te if it's a staff, pitbull, rottie or border collie.

    Deed, not breed.

i'd love to pick up on this debate, but i imagine it'd be moved to a different forum at which point i'd immediately lose sight of it.

All animals have traits that are inherently based on their genetics. You can have a different opinion but it just means your opinion is wrong.
