Full Mouth Reconstruction/Cosmetic Dentistry

    Hi everyone.

I found a few old threads regarding cosmetic dentistry but none covered my queries.

I am not happy with my teeth. They are yellow, crooked, kind of bucked and full of fillings.
I fell off a bike when I was young and had a lot of work done including braces. My teeth are still a bit bucked but I'd probably need jaw re-alignment...not opting for that!!
I've been told I have a nice smile believe it or not but I'd love a bright white one. My current dentist told me I'd need a lot of refilling before I could ever whiten them. I also asked him about veneers, he wouldn't even entertain the ides. Too much upkeep?

So... I've been googling the cost of full mouth reconstruction and no joy with an idea of cost. Does anyone know how much it costs? Or am i even looking at the right thing? I dont want to go abroad. Im based in Munster but willing to travel anywhere in Ireland for the right dental work.

Can anyone even recommend options of what I could do? Even to get my top teeth perfect.

    I appreciate all suggestions.
    Thanks

Better off asking in the Dental Issues forum really. It isn't really possible to quote for "full mouth reconstruction" because every patient will provide a completely different treatment plan whether its veneers, crowns, fillings or just whitening or something. The lads in the dental issues forum might be able to recommend a good prosthodontist close to you!

Advanced dental work, prosthodontics (there is no such thing as cosmetic dentistry really or cosmetic dentist) can be simple or complex. Fixing your teeth will cost between 100-100,000 euro, it depends on
    1. What you need done.
    2. The quality of what you want.
    3. The specification of the prosthesis.
    4. The person doing the job.
    5. The materials and laboratory used.

The only way to know for sure is to go to a dentist or prosthetic specialist and get a consultation where a written treatment plan and estimate is made for you. You will need plenty of time and X-rays for this so expect to pay for the consultation.

Avoid have complex work done away from home. Access to aftercare and emergency care is very important, and the quality of this holiday dentistry is generally dire requiring extensive and expensive re treatment. Looks crap too.

I can recommend people in Munster by pm.
