    What's everyone's thought on this?

Want to start doing hill sprints for conditioning and explosiveness. I usually run barefoot and was just wondering if rugby boots would be acceptable?

I'll be using them on the Magazine Fort in the Phoenix Park.

Good man. Anything like that that overloads the body will pay dividends. For strength and speed do short reps, for stamina do longer ones. And not the day before a race :)

Ha, I'll be sure not to!

So you think rugby boots would be okay? Purely for the grip :)

For sure, but also to work the legs harder. Spikes would also work but the boots give extra resistance on the recovery leg.
