Gonna be doing the gravity enduro for the first time this year. Just want to get people's opinions on what bike to use? I've currently got a trek fuel ex 6 with Rockshox reverb. I have been toying with the idea of getting a trek remedy 7 but is it really necessary???? What are your opinions???

Also on a side note. What tyres would you recommend using???

Thanks in advance for all responses

You would be better asking this question on a MTB forum.Try either MAD or EPIC.

There are definitely a few good and experienced MTBers on here, unfortunately I'm definitely not one of them :(

In my opinion u'd get around fine on the fuel. Obviously the extra travel of the remedy wud be better suited to it but seems as its only ur first year 130 travel wud be okay, then as u start to quicken the 160 travel of the remedy wud be much better.

As regards tyres, that's sort of up to the individual. I like an ardent on the front and a racing ralf on the back but can vary from time to time

I agree with the last post, the Trek fuel would be fine. The Remedy would be easier on the downhill but you would probably be a lot faster on your own bike over most timed stages.

    Well done, lovely bike.
    You deserve it.
    Keep the dropper seatpost.

You'll appreciate the extra travel on the DH sections.

The first round of the Enduro series is in Carrick. If conditions don't change,
it will be a mudfest. And it will be a long day.

Enduro's in Ireland can be done with a short travel full suss, 160mm would be overkill, 120mm is perfect...IMO..

As for tyres, depends on the conditions, as mentioned if the weather doesn't improve then you will need: Mud Tyres
