Going to a Classic! Advice needed

So just booked flight and hotel (very reasonable) for OH and me to attend La Fleche Wallonne.

Having never been to a Belgian classic or any one day race - looking for advice and info from a spectators POV.

Ie what time do I need to get to Mur de Huy to get a decent place?

Is it ticketed or just plonk myself somewhere along the route?

There seems to be a lot of drinking at the Belgian classics, is this a bring you own or is there lots of booths on the route?

Any other tips, experience sharing, info or advice would be amazing. I'll be polishing off the tricolour, last seen dejectedly in Poznan last summer.
