I had a few items for sale on eBay that ended earlier, all with the same postage price of €10. However, when 1 of the items ended, the postage price inexplicably changed to €15 of its own accord. The buyer paid immediately without noticing and it was only after I checked into eBay that I noticed the error. Thankfully, after much apologies and a refund of the €5, she seems happy enough but I'm worried that if it happened again, the buyer might think I was trying to pull a fast one. I had no problems with the other items I sold. Can anyone explain why this happened??

The answer could be on the listing page .............When you listed , did you enter an extra fiver for more than one item.

Or could you have €15 listed as international shipping and maybe the buyer bought the item through Ebay.com rather than eBay.ie .

Is the buyer Irish , and did you list on eBay.ie ...Did you offer international postage as an option at different rate than the domestic shipping rate

Nope, the buyer only purchased the one item, it was the same rate for domestic and international postage and the item was only listed on ebay.ie and eBay.co.uk. It really has me confounded
