40 Year Old Virgins - reality show about 45/28 year olds 'loosing it' with one another

Five Minutes to Make a Fortune - Davina McCall gameshow

London Irish - hard-drinking, hard-living ex-pat community of Northern Irish living in London

Date Night - reality show eavesdroping on eight first-time couples; from the moment they lay eyes on each other to their parting glance.

Grand National special with Alan Carr

Clearly there is little scope for idiocy with any of the above. ;)

They have a few possibly decent programmes as well.

You forgot to mention Ramadan season
The broadcaster is "in discussions" about airing morning prayers every day, between July and August.

To be fair, there are some promising programmes there. I think Channel
4 has improved since the departure of Big Brother freed up a lot of time for Drama and Documentaries across their Channels.
David Mitchell hosts a new entertainment show, Was It Something I Said? with two teams pitted against each other in a battle of word play to deduce who said what. And, in comedy Peter Kay returns to Channel 4 with a brand new one-hour special, Malachy’s Millions – in which he plays Malachy Mooney, a self-made millionaire who trades in his luxury lifestyle to live undercover in a destitute former mining town in northern England.

New David Mitchell Panel Show - it might not be cutting edge but I'll be watching. Peter Kay gets a lot of criticism but if his new show is as good as 'Britain's got The Pop Factor ...' I'll be happy.

Some other decent sounding shows too, including the return of Utopia and the Murder Trial.

Looks like 'You Have Been Watching' with Charlie Brooker isn't coming back...shame, as I have to endure 50+ mins of '10 O'clock Live' just to hear some top-quality ranting.

You have Been Watching was a bit too like the kind of celeb panel fluff that Brooker should be taking apart at the seams!

Gutted, read the thread title and thought they were genuinely going to make Monkey Tennis.
