It's that time of year again.

Have liked Model Pupil for quite a while and was nice to see him back today with a really good win. In hindsight 5/6 was an absolute gift but didn't back him today because there are much bigger days for him. Was beaten a short head in last season's Chester Vase (still very green) and I fancied him at a price for the Derby but didn't go.

Really think he could be a group 1 horse over a mile and a half. Not sure I'd like to see him go for the Coronation I don't think he handled Chester well. Would love to see him go for a race like the Grand Prix de Saint Cloud

Viztoria looked pretty smart last term so I'm looking forward to seeing if she's going to train on.

She was beaten at Maison Lafaitte last start but really liked her, shame she was moved from Adrian McGuinness he's a good trainer pity he didn't get to keep what could be the best he ever had

Sparkling Portrait is one I will have my eye on again this year. Hopefully will have wintered well and get off to a good start this season. Should go well fresh.

I don't mind it but nothing ever beats the jumps.

I like the big meetings but the Saturday quality tends to be poor enough. Dont care enough about the handicap races unlike the jumps.

Educate is definitely my main one to follow for the season. He was finally able to show the ability I knew he had when his gelding operation stopped him being a maniac on the track. I think there is still a truck load of improvement left in him and very strongly fancy him to land the Spring Mile at Doncaster tomorrow where I've had a sizeable bet at 12/1

Hope he does rossom, I'm backing Warcrown tomorrow who disappointed behind him last time

I really think he will Urban. I think he has the potential to step into Group company if he progresses the way I think he can.

Reckless Abandon. 20/1 for the 2000 Guineas seems extremely high.

Strikes me as a two year old, same can be said for Moohaajim. Fancied Christoforo Columbus for the guineas but the Henrythenavigators seem ground dependant and judging by the weather we've had it'd be no surprise to get proper soft ground for May. Would give Kingsbarns a chance, Toranado could run well with whatever he does at Newmarket a big bonus before the derby

I was listening to a podcast about Frankel on BBc radio 5 and Sir Henry Cecil has high hopes for this horse:

Luca Cumani's two year olds are apparantly in good nick (source: Kieren Fallon speaking on attheraces)

I can't see him staying beyond 6 furlongs to be honest. Could see him turning out to be champion sprinter though.

She went straight into my notebook after winning. Sir Henry only has a very few debutant winners nowadays and any that do are clearly quite a bit above average.

Just the Judge - have backed this one on her three starts last season, she has improved with every run and i fully expect a massive run out of her in the 1000 Guineas as a starting point this year, i think she is currently 10/1 and is definitely my horse to folow this year

Be interesting to see how much improvement O'Brien can get out of Most Improved this season now he's owned by Coolmore.

Quite a bit considering who previously trained him.

Definitely one for the notebook, met a bit of traffic in running and the jockey wasn't overly hard on her.

Won again yesterday at 7/1 (Catterick 5pm), that's 3 wins from last 5 runs.
I gave up the following bit after the first win :(
