Why is there no Runirelandranking website, where we can compare race times, get a handicap Mark, ect.!?? For races at various distances.

Runbritainranking.com is the example i'am referring too..

All the road races on now, surely there's a need for one.
I've no idea how to set up a page for it or, if it needs to be cleared by AAI.
Just an idea for certified road races. We all know each others names from around the circuit, (ie. Ballycotton, Connemara, Great Ireland National 10k/Fun run, Dublin Marathon ect.)
Be nice to compare performances and gain a handicap mark ect. Say,
''13.50 5k'' is top road handicap rating here, right the way down..
for example:The Racehorse 'Sprinter Sacre ''rated 182'' has the top rating. (ie. Joe Sweeney)!!
Just for the Craic if nothing else!

www.imra.ie has a form of ranking for anyone who participates in IMRA races.

AAI website uses wordpress. Without a sponsor such a website done correctly would cost a nice bit of money unless they can get a rebranded clone of an existing site.

How do races currently get a website / online entry / online results etc. up and running? Is there a platform most use?

Setting up a site like that would be expensive enough but the maintenance would be very costly. It would be contracted out to a software/web development company. AAI would need some lucrative sponsorship to afford it.
