Since Ludgate O Keefe is gone, where is the best place to purchase a medium weight gi? Is it better online now or is there anywhere in Cork?

Yea Ludgate is sorely missed for Martial Arts gear.

Mahers have a selection but last time I was in there, they looked like poor quality ones.
The last suit I bought was from tokaido.jp, which is a fantastic suit, but they aint cheap!

You won't go wrong with a Blitz White Diamond.

    Blitz Sport online.

I know the tokaido ones - they're fab. A little out of my budget right now. I looked in mahers and the quality is ****e to be honest. Real thin/light ones, you know they'll shrink in no time.
That blitz one looks to be very good value...comes with 2 trousers aswell? I always struggle to get a jacket long enough, I'm tall- ish (5' 8") and medium build..about 140lbs. Size 5 I'm guessing?

I know this thread is old but if anyone is still looking for martial art gear in cork. I think this gang are opening a shop in Midleton Co. Cork I found there website the other day and it seems like they might be good. I bought a karate suit for my son on it and it seemed pretty good to me. They also had taekwondo - Judo - Kung fu suits. I sent them an email asking when the shop in cork is opening and they said December 2013.
    Here's there website www.TotalCombat.net
