Hey, Where would one be able to find a reasonable priced fresh cream cake that doesn't have to be pre-ordered, within lunchtime walking distance from the IFSC?? We are throwing a last minute birthday party for a friend and we have no cake!! :O

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! :)

There's a traditional bakery on Liffey St ( just use the LUAS) if they don't have anything there's M&S and Tesco in Jervis.

The Earl on North Earl st would probably sort you out. If you ring them , there's probably time for them to make one if they haven't got one in stock.

This one is probably of no use in terms of location for the OP, but they do the most AMAZING food!!! I've only had savouries so far, have managed to resist the cakes, but only with difficulty :D

Well worth a visit, and they have good coffee as well :)

But the tea time express brand is gone though. Are they the same cakes in the boxes?

Anything I've bought in there is the same. G.I. loaf, ginger bread men, sandwiches. Not sure about anything else
