Can anyone recommend what type of floor tiles to get for entrance into an apartment complex - it would be relatively high traffic.
The photos attached are the existing tiles - they are very faded and dont look well.
    There is about 15 steps.

    Thanks

I would think you need a good vitreous Tile which are very hard and don't crack or break easily. You also want to get a full Color Tile not just a Color on the surface. If you go to Richardsons or Tile style they both have big selections and will best able to advise you.

Are they terracotta tiles ? They look like the terracotta tiles we have in work (very heavy traffic!)and when they start to look dull they polish them with this stuff - http://www.lenehans.ie/lenehans/main/Product2.asp?ProdID=5074 and they come up really well!
