Windscreen Cover Question

    Hi Folks

    This is one for any windscreen folk out here in boards.ie,

    Will my comp insurance with axa which includes windscreen cover, cover a windscreen that cracked in another vechicle i was driving ? the other vechicle was a van with no windscreen cover.

    No, as far as I know it covers the insured vehicle only.

    There was a 'one man band' type of insurance broker near us when we started driving a few moons ago now. Well story goes that a guy rang him up and asked "Jim, how much would it cost to get windscreen cover added to my policy?" The reply was "How big is the crack?"
