    Just saw in my local paper (Limerick Post) that FÀS are taking on trainee technicians again, I presume in association with Shannon Aerospace! Starting Monday June 17, applications by 3 May!

    Hi alan I'm also attending the apti test on 16.. a little unsure bout what to expect in general nd what questions to expect.. are you also attending? Do you have clues on what the test will b lik? Cheers much

    Hi...no I did the tests a few years ago...I'm finished my training now and working as a mechanic! Are you doing the Shannon Aerospace exams? Give me a pm with any questions you have!!

    On the job training. There's work placement during the summer months if you get high enough marks.

    Anyone have an idea what types of questions will be asked on the aptitude test for shannon aerospace?
    ..and where I can get sample questions online?

    Sorry mate, ment to get back to you!!
    When I did it, it was a maths test and a spatial awareness first, if you got through that then they give you a box of nuts, bolts and washers and metal plates and basically you have a sample model and need to reproduce it!
    If you pass that then it's interview stage!!
    For me it was all done in the same day although I think sometimes they hold the interviews on a different day depending on numbers!
    I don't really thinks there's much you can study for it, it's an aptitude test, you either have it or you don't!!
