Claiming tax and PRSI back if UK resident

A friend has worked in Ireland on a small job (acting in some tv programme or advert). He paid PRSI and tax. Can he claim this back as he lives full time in UK and is tax resident there?

Any help on what form or a link would be greatly appreciated.

    International tax = professional advice.

Just know that he has to pay tax on it somewhere, either Ireland or the UK. If he didn't pay UK tax then why would he get a refund?

OK, don't know the ins and outs but I do know that when I worked 20 years ago in Ireland for a short period and then moved to UK, I got tax back in Ireland as the earnings in ireland were below the minimum threshold but I had been taxed on emergency tax rates so did get a refund.

In terms of professional advice, we are talking very small income, a few hundred pounds so the cost of the cost of the advice would outweigh the tax back.

Thansk for your reply anyway. I will try offline.
