Hi. Can anybody advise me on buying chilli seeds in Ireland. I've found it difficult to find on Google, all suppliers seem to be in the uk. I'd like to buy from an Irish supplier, but am struggling to get the varieties i want such as "rainbow, fatalli, explosive ember"...I grew simple finger chillies last year in my tunnel but i would really like to expand on that this year. Any advice please?

try seedaholic or irish seed savers...failing that, for more exotic varities, then probably have to be the UK

You can get them from anywhere these days, try B&Q (if they're still open), the UK ones have Cayenne and Jalpeno chilli seeds and some branded ones (Suttons?). Try any garden centre.

I know you said you wanted to buy Irish, but Jungleseeds.co.uk are the best seed firm I've used for fruit, veg, tree, exotic plant & shrub seeds

Haven't bought from them but http://www.southdevonchillifarm.co.uk/ seem very well regarded and will have the more exotic stuff. At a guess cayenne, jalapeno and habanero would be the only ones available off the shelf in Ireland.

I have piri piri chillis, they do well in Ireland and produce good hot chillis.
There's a biggish long running thread on here from last year where a few of us were sharing info on chillis.

As has been already mentioned, South Devon Chilli Farm are very good. Definitely the place to go for the more exotic types of chillies.
