Lamb walking on knuckles

Hi Lads. I had a hogget dropped day before yesterday, she had twins. When I went to let them out this morning I noticed one of the lambs is walking on his knuckles. It's just his front legs and the other lamb is fine. He is sucking and his mouth is warm. I never saw this before. What should I do with him? I was afraid to let them out of the shed in case the mother would go off without him.

leave them in for a day or two, he'll come right they normally do.

have seen it a few times in calves. dont leave it too long as the skin will break on the knucles and then you'll have problems. We had in a calf last year and we got his legs put in the plaster of paris for a few weeks to train the feet. He was flying around on the legs fine and was ok when we took the plaster off

Had a lamb with it this year, and he came good within 3 - 4 days.

As Cran says, keep em in for a few days longer, and they'll fix themselves.

Get this every now and again as said above they will come right after a few days do leave them in as the ewe and other lamb will travel faster than him and will be left behind.
