Jobseekers allowance confusion

I made a claim for jobseekers allowance. I filled in all the forms and was given a temporary Social Protection card. I'm 18 years old.

I recieved a letter today saying my weekly means is €0.00. My parents net weekly income is €371.36 and that is for a household of 4 people. But in blue pen beside it it says my weekly rate is €100.0.

I don't understand, am i getting nothing at all or something?

Your means are nil, which means your family's income is below the threshold, which means you qualify for the full amount.

Unfortunately in your case, the full amount for a person of your age is 100e p/w

No, unfortunate for you that our recent governments have decided to discriminate against young people who are unemployed.
