    Hi
I'm in first year at the moment but don't really like the course I'm doing so am considering reapplying through the CAO. I was wondering though if I reapply will that automatically cancel out the course I'm doing in Maynooth at the moment or will that only happen when i accept the new course? I'm just worried incase I apply for the new course but don't get it and then am left without a college course at all. Or is it just a case of me not registering in Maynooth for second year? If thats the case does anybody know what the registration dates for second years are? Also do you know if I'll still be elgible for a grant if I switch courses and will I have to pay first year fees? Sorry for all the questions and thanks for your help :)

From what I know your course won't be cancelled unless you don't register for Second Year. You won't be eligible for the grant for your first year but will from Second Year onwards and you will have to pay First Year Fees but not for the years afterwards
