    Hi All,

Does anyone know of the cheapest way to transfer funds from Australia to Ireland. As it stands we are being hit with about €50 - €60 euro of charges on transfers of $1000.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    http://www.currencyfair.com/

Have used them to transfer money between UK and Ireland with no problems at all over the past 7 months. They charge a flat €3 fee per transfer.

They seem to be doing pretty well too, even getting a mention in the Economist http://www.economist.com/node/21554740.

I second the reccomendation for currency fair. I had been doing monthly transfers through my bank and just switched over to currency fair a couple of months ago. Exchange rate and fees are fair better and the process is straight forward.

My fees are €4 per transaction though?
