Hi, I have a 2002 Seat Inca sdi. I'm looking to put a tdi engine into it. Anybody know what engine would be the best and would it be worth doing. Thanks.

sell your inca, and buy turbodiesel inca or similar car/van. no worth at all... thats the cheap way.

Otherwise, if you have some cash, and willing play with engine, i heard, many people put standard turbochargers on sdi engines, and no problem at all, will require some extra parts, like turbo charger, exhaust manifold , some more coolant and oil feed lines, vacuum lines.

When i was working in garage a while back, we put turbocharger on toyota carina 2.0 diesel, had faulty turbo engine, and good non turbo down in the back yard., very little to work on , just was a bit problem with oil return from turbo charger to oil sump, where we had to drill hole in sump, and weld a pipe in to it , then connect to turbo oil return line. , cant remember everything in details, but we managed do it in one afternoon, 3 guys. faulty engine out, new engine modified, and put in car.
