Microsoft silverlight

    I opened up my laptop today which was supposed to be sleeping but it had turned off.

    When I turned it on, I noticed that Microsoft silver light had been installed and I had a Facebook status and twitter tweet that I had not written on my accounts. They didn't make sense either. They were just letters.

    Later this evening, my laptop didn't even turn on and it makes 7 beeps.

    Is this a virus?
    Any help or info would be appreciated!

    Sounds like you got phished/hacked and microsoft silverlight was exploited to do it. Be a good idea to disable it and change your passwords.
